The first process of our design stage is concept development. 

Our team create visual mood boards that showcase potential material and colour combinations that will resonate with your customer demographic.

 Often, we will commence our concept stage with the logo and branding.

 How will your signage and logo present to the customer?

 How can we develop an icon or an image that is memorable and will form an exceptional sign that is visible from key vantage points?

How can the icon be subtly repeated on packaging and in store to reinforce your brand?

We aim for a simple yet effective graphics package that is not overbearing but provide information to your customer regarding your unique selling proposition.

Our team will develop a few layout options, exploring how the customer and staff will interact with the space.

Careful consideration is given to how the space will be divided to provide functional retail displays, consult areas, staff areas for repairs, custom makes, staff amenities.

One the space planning and branding is agreed upon, we work up several design options in 3-D, referring closely to the information gained at the listening stage of the brief.

Once we have established a direction from the design stage, we move into the design development stage.

Our team will create all of the plans required to bring the vision to life.

A full set of details are drafted to capture all of our client’s vision.

During the develop stage we explore options for lighting, materials, digital displays and graphics.

Lighting in the jewellery space is critical to the final concept.

Various methods of lighting are designed to ensure that the product is the hero.

 The lighting style is driven by the type of product on display and the type of joinery used in the design.

We develop the design in extreme detail to ensure that all aspects of the concept are captured and can be built cost-effectively and on time.

The working drawings in the develop stage are crafted in extremely high detail to ensure that all required  information is within the drawings .

The most important results of retail design are delivered long after we have concepted and drafted the retail space.

The critical stage of construction brings the vision to life.

 Many of our team members have been designing for over 30 years, this time in the industry has allowed us to develop very solid relationships with a number of highly regarded shop fitters, along with the many specialised trades.
